Welcome ChemCon GmbH: CDMO - made in Germany

We are delighted to announce that ChemCon GmbH from Freiburg, Germany, is now our new client. As San-Ten Consulting, we will handle all sales and marketing activities in Japan and serve as the contact point for all inquiries from new and existing customers in Japan.

ChemCon is a CDMO, or Chemical Development and Manufacturing Organization. If a pharmaceutical company or a startup in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector has a concept for a substance that can achieve a desired pharmacological effect in the human body, they certainly understand the required molecular structure. But the challenge is: how to synthesize this substance and ensure it is the correct molecule. This is where our new client, ChemCon, steps in. They will develop the synthesis route for the molecule based on the chemical structure and can also prepare the substance in quantities necessary for further tests.

Moreover, ChemCon possesses advanced analytical capabilities to verify the substance and ensure the prepared molecule meets the customer's requirements. These analytics are used for in-house preparation and are also available as a service for their clients.

If the molecule is proven in tests to be an effective new drug, ChemCon can produce larger samples and eventually manufacture commercial quantities up to 800kg, adhering to the strict GMP regulations required for pharmaceuticals.

But not only APIs need to be produced under GMP conditions. Recently, pharmaceutical polymers have gained interest as drug delivery methods. ChemCon has significant experience in developing and manufacturing these polymer substances, also under GMP regulations for pharmaceutical use.

In addition to these development and manufacturing services, ChemCon offers a range of APIs, Fine Chemicals, and reference standards that are available off the shelf.
